Our two overall winning teams for My Vision for Europe have finally been announced!

Today, in the Irish Film Institute, our six finalist teams competed in the climax of the competition. All teams presented to the live audience of students and judges, explaining the concept and story of their video, and their vision for Europe! The three members of the judging panel were Francis Jacobs, Head of the European Parliament Office in Ireland, Alicia McGivern, Head of Education at the Irish Film Institute, and our special guest judge, film director Kirsten Sheridan.

St Mary's Diocesan School, Drogheda were the overall winners from the Republic of Ireland, and Methodist College Belfast were the over all winners from Northern Ireland. Congratulations to both teams!

Both winning teams have won the prize of a trip to Strasbourg to the European Parliament, where they will experience a day in the life of a Member of the European Parliament.

Check out the winning videos from St Mary's Diocesan School and Methodist College Belfast.

Congratulations also to our runners up, each of whom won a camcorder for their school as well as a workshop-visit to their school from the My Vision for Europe team.
